This article will show you how to change the desktop background in Windows 7. In order to change the desktop background you have to perform the following steps:
- Right click on an empty space on the Windows 7 desktop.
- Click on Personalize.
- On the bottom side of the window that appeared click on Desktop Background.
- If you have your own image files click on Browse, select the path to the folder containing them.
- If you want to choose one of the desktop backgrounds included with Windows 7 select Windows Desktop Backgrounds if it is not already selected. Choose one of the images displayed. You may have already noticed that once you click on an image it is previewed on the desktop.
- If you want the wallpaper to change from time you should select multiple image files (the thumbnails have checkboxes in the upper-left side and there is also a Select All button). After doing this you should also select the time frequency.
- After you’re done select a Picture position (Fill, the default setting, works just fine for me.) if you want to and click on Save changes.
